errands, appointments, shopping, COLORS!
Hi friend!
We have been in Maine for 5 days so far, and every day has involved running errands, keeping appointments, going shopping, and enjoying the gorgeous fall colors! The weather has been glorious--even spectacular--with nights in the 30's & 40's and the daytime temperature around 65 degrees. Everywhere we go, we see sunshine, blue skies, and vibrant autumn leaves. Yesterday we stopped at a neat little shop to get a warm cup of coffee and made-to-order mini donuts and they were SO tasty. The folks at Morning Moose were friendly and helpful, so we will definitely go back there again. At this point in the season, the sun is coming up around 7:00am and going down a little before 6:00pm. The pink sunset colors in the sky and the autumn leaves reflect beautifully in Pleasant Pond--such rich hues!
