Busy-ness and difficulties!

Howdy friends!

Whew, I know my pals at West & Romig had a very busy week last week with parent-teacher conferences, the book fair in the library, an inservice day, and Halloween--that's a LOT of activity! I have had so many busy days, too--the workers who are helping build and finish my new house are on the job from around 7:00 in the morning until 5:00pm every day. I don't want to get in their way, so I don't go to the house to use the internet to post on my blog. Sorry for the lapse in posting! We have been driving all over the state, going to appointments and shopping for items that will go in the house. Catniss the cat doesn't like being left alone in our cabin all day, so we leave the radio playing music for her to keep her company. She went to the vet, too, and wasn't too happy about it but she's doing great!

I hope to get a car to drive by the end of this week...we have been borrowing a neighbor's car for now. We also have been going to a laundromat to clean all of our clothes, and that can get interesting. It was hard to figure out which slot to put the detergent into!! It will be convenient when we get a washer and dryer in our new house. We are still enjoying the beautiful fall leaves, chilly mornings and warm days. Today we saw geese, ducks, loons, a bald eagle, Eastern blue birds, crows, and a screechy yet colorful blue jay! I wonder when we will see a moose or a black bear here on Pleasant Pond?

Keep reading, and whenever possible--be kind! ~~Mrs. Hobbs
